J.K. Mullen High School's Varsity Men's Hockey Team will compete for the first time in the CHSAA State Hockey Tournament at 5:15 PM on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Boulder Valley Ice Arena.

The Varsity Mustangs game against Lewis Palmer at the Colorado Sports Center in Monument will be played Friday Evening, December 7th at 8:15 P.M.
The Senior led Mullen Varsity Hockey Team will face the Heritage Eagles Friday night, November 30th, at the Edge Ice Arena on Friday evening 8:30 P.M. The Edge Ice Arena, Home of the Mustangs, is located at 6623 S. Ward Street in Littleton.
Mullen’s second game will be played on Saturday, December 1st, also at the Edge, against the Valor Christian Eagles at 8:30 P.M.
This year’s Senior heavy team is led by forwards: Nick Zyzda, Brennan McMahon, Cameron Ghia, Jackson Halbrook, Adam George and Jessie Springer. The Defensive seniors are Ian Boyle, Sean Detine, Sean Whitfield, Joey Schultz and Evan Churchill. The juniors on the Team are Brady Brehm, Mitchell Oliveri, Chris Schwappach and Ryan Cope. Completing the team are sophomores Anthony DiSaverio, Mitchell Sakic and Connor Morris. Minding the net are goaltenders Eric Bond (S), Jonathan Oancia (S) and Bronson Sudberry (F).
This year’s team warmed up by winning both the Twisted Wrister and Kingdom Cup Major A pre-season tournaments; expectations are high! The Mustangs will compete in the CHSAA Foothills Conference against foes the likes of Cherry Creek, Columbine, Standley Lake and Regis.
